I believe spending time in nature is one of the happiest places you could be!
Strolling through a grove of trees in the forest, hiking to a waterfall, tiptoeing through delicate ground covers, or meandering through a manicured garden... each evoke their own ambiance & emotion and can't help but cheer you and bring peace into your heart!
No matter what kind of forest or garden, I enjoy capturing pictures of everything from the tallest trees to the smallest growths of moss, and shooting moving water is one of my favorite challenges - anything from waterfalls to flowing rivers. Once the images are captured, creating all kinds of artwork around the photos is just as much fun to me and brings the outdoors inside to enjoy when we are back home!

The first part of the fun comes from spending time in the great outdoors - a garden, neighborhood park, or a hike in the woods - with all of the ever-changing splendor around, even the same places are different from season to season and in some cases from week to week!

Photography, graphics, website writing - all fantastic outlets for making something beautiful. Working in the yard and garden is also very satifying - there is no end to learning what will and will not grow in the area I have to work with. Our home is situated in the midst of a forest in the middle of the suburbs so the best of all worlds are just within reach.
